Actor Malaika Arora’s father jumps to death from building terrace
Bollywood actor and model Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora, died by suicide after jumping off a building terrace on Wednesday, police said.

Top police officers reached the spot and no suicide note has been found so far, officials added.
The police are yet to determine the possible reasons behind the suicide.
The actor was not at home when her father took the extreme step, according to officialsMalaika’s family members,
along with her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan, arrived at her residence to offer condolences following the news of the suicide.
Anil Arora, who was originally from Punjab, had worked with the Merchant Navy.
Malaika Arora’s parents separated when she was 11-years-old. She and her younger sister, Amrita Rao, who was 6 at the time, were raised by their mother, Joyce Polycarp.Malaika made her mark in the industry as an actor, model, dancer, and video jockey.
She has starred in films like Kaante and EMI. She also performed in songs such as Chaiyya Chaiyya, Gur Naalo Ishq Mitha, Maahi Ve, Kaal Dhamaal, and Munni Badnaam.
Actresses Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora’s father, Anil Arora, died by suicide on Wednesday afternoon. According to Mumbai Police, he jumped from the terrace of the building in Mumbai’s Bandra where he resided.
The family, however, is yet to release a statement on the tragic incident.According to reports, top officers from the Mumbai police have rushed to location and further details are awaited.
Authorities are currently investigating to determine the cause behind the incident. In a video, being widely shared on social media, Malaika’s ex-husband, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, was seen outside Anil Arora’s residence on Wednesday, talking to the police officials and taking stock of the situation.
The area around the house saw heavy police deployment, ensuring privacy and order during the sensitive time. An ambulance was also stationed outside the building.
