Rolling Stones Reschedules Gigs Later In The Year
Concerts of the Rolling Stones in Australia and New Zealand have been rescheduled to later this year, after the death of fashion designer L’Wren Scott, Mick Jagger’s girlfriend.
Shocking, tragic death
The frontman’s partner was found dead in her Manhattan apartment. Her death has been ruled as suicide by hanging, New York City officials confirmed.
Scott’s body was found in her apartment by her assistant.
After the confirmation, Mick said he failed “to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.”
Frontier Touring published a statement saying “every effort” was being made to schedule the concerts to October and November.
Ticket holders are asked to hold on to their tickets until a further update. If any new dates are not suitable, a full refund will be given.
The band said they were “deeply sorry and disappointed” to cancel all the gigs
